During the 2008 election campaign, I continually outlined my vision for Carine to local constituents.
The State electorate of Carine comprises of several beautiful residential suburbs and picturesque beachside.
As a father of three, my chief concern is improving and maintaining community safety. We all have a right to feel safe, and I will be working hard with the Minister for Police, the Hon. Rob Johnson, to improve community safety throughout the electorate of Carine.
I am well aware of the increasing cost of living and I aim to help combat these expenses by facilitating a better public transport system, including providing more feeder buses and improving parking at local train stations.
Environmentally sustainable development is very important to me. I am keen to make sure that our natural environment is protected for future generations.
Many residents in the area are also concerned about the decaying state of the former Carine TAFEWA site. I am spending a lot of time making certain that the redevelopment of this site reflects our community’s needs and values.
